Identity for Brazil's largest banks
idwall.coidwall is one of Latin America's leading identity and fraud-prevention platforms. Founded in São Paulo in 2016, it verifies people and companies for two of Brazil's three largest banks. By the time it was acquired it was validating around 450 million identities a year, had run more than 350 million background checks and handled over 700 million queries, and had helped prevent more than R$8 billion in fraud.
In 2026 it was acquired by Serasa Experian, in a deal reported at around R$400 million.
Ahead of the acquisition I worked on rebuilding authentication and authorization across its internal and external applications, and moved more than 1.5 million users to a new identity system.

Keycloak migration
I moved more than 1.5 million users off a legacy auth system with Knex stream scripts, and rebuilt their permissions as group-based access control.
One way in
I unified secure access across platforms with HTTP-only tokens, closing off cross-site scripting risks.
Cost and audit tooling
I built internal tools for cost monitoring, audit logging and log visualization, alongside AWS Cognito and S3 integrations.
Stack
NestJS, Keycloak and Kafka, on GCP and AWS.
